5 Fun Tips for Epoxy Stickers!

I love epoxy stickers! :) I love the shiny texture and the dimension they add to my pages! My favorites are from KI Memories and Autumn Leaves! Here are some fun, creative tips you can use to make the most of your stash!
1. Use Epoxy stickers to create tabs for a mini book! I just adore this little book Mary Grace made! What a fun and creative idea! This would also be cool to use for the tops of your pages in your regular albums!
2. Make a funky frame using epoxy stickers! I love doing this! Sometimes I mix them with buttons. This is a great way to use up leftovers from other projects!
3. Create a title (that is also a border!) with epoxy stickers! This is fun b.c you can mix and match colors and styles! I love the different fonts on these Mod epoxies! :) On this page I also used 2 KI epoxies as flower centers! It is the perfect finishing touch :)
4. Rachel used epoxies on this page to embellish her letter stickers. Think dots for your i's and maybe adding some decorative ones in the centers of your o's and a's?? Such a fun page and a cute idea! :)
5. Use epoxy stickers to create a shape! For this tip you just need to handcut a shape (try a star, heart or monogram letter...) and then cover it with epoxies, trim off the excess and mount it on another color cardstock! :) This is super easy and I love how it it totally custom, you can do any shape or symbol you need to!
Enjoy! Elsie

Growth of an Artist by Maria Grace Abuzman

Like most people, I am a creature of habit. I am most comfortable when surrounded by things that are familiar to me – same routines, same processes. I like knowing my place in the world, knowing where I fit and how I relate to people and experiences.

This is why change of any kind is hard for me. I’m not one to embrace change willingly. But as time passes change is inevitable and I’ve come to realize that in order to live a dynamic life, I need to accept it into my own. Because what I fear more than change is living a life that is static and exclusive.

As an artist, I have this instinctive need to explore. Everyday is an adventure with new experiences just waiting for me to live out. And every journey I live through, I feel growth. I feel myself growing into something better – a better daughter, sister, friend. A better worker, volunteer, listener. A more creative artist. And the key to something better, I’ve found, is to not merely sit and wait for change to happen, but to make it happen for myself.

And that’s our challenge as artists: to be the change that will make things happen. To affect how people think, feel, and interact with their own world. As artists, we know the value of variety. We pull from our lives experiences, thoughts, words, pictures and put it all down on paper. We share, we discuss, and by doing so, we grow. Into someone better. Into something more.

And as life works in cycles, so do our experiences. I feel this everyday as a member of the Two Peas community. When I first joined, all I did was browse through the galleries. I loved seeing it all, every layout that was shared and all the comments people left. And after almost of a year of just browsing, I finally decided to share the work I was creating. And there it was a change in my routine. It was a bit scary because I didn’t know what to expect, but I felt the need to share and give back in the same manner that so many others had done.

Sharing that first layout was a personal growth moment for me. And taking that step, letting change happen, has only made me a better person. Because I've grown more comfortable sharing my work as an artist. Because the Two Peas community challenges me to see my life in a completely different way.

Change is inevitable. Our community here is changing everyday and I love seeing it all because it means we're growing together. The artist in me is happy.

The Scrap Wrap by Scrap It Simple

I REALLY disliked Posts, Screws, & Straps!

"One of the things I disliked most about current scrapbooking albums was that in order to add a page, I had to have three hands; one to hold the page down, one to push the cover over the posts, and a third to turn the screws." My answer was to create a whole new scrapbooking album based upon a hook & loop binding system. The Scrap Wrap™.

What's New?

We've added several more styles of scrapbook albums. We now offer 48 different styles of Scrap Wrap albums. Below are some examples.
